Pfaff designed The Links at Victoria Trace, the driving
range layout and the overall layout of the lots, clubhouse, and
parking lot. Mr.
Pfaff is known for courses he designed while working with Pete
Dye, such as Harbor Town Golf Links (site of the Heritage
Classic), Kings Mill (site of the Anheuser-Bush Classic), Oak
Tree Golf Club (former site of the U.S. Amateur and the 1988
U.S. PGA Championship), and Indianapolis' own Crooked Stick. Mr.
Pfaff was chosen for this project because of his unique ability
to marry a golf course with residential housing without one
intruding upon the other. |
